Default Todays Brownies

Here a few pics of some lovely browns I caught today whilst out fishing my local hill loch.
The first 2 fish pictured were a double hook up , top fish took top dropper, Size 12 Bibio and the bottom fish took a Silver Invicta on the point.
Never had my net so a bit of fun getting them both unhooked and released after the snap.
Caught about 6 in total, all took the Bibio apart from 1 and were released unharmed.
A bit of variety in colour and Great fun as always

Nice troot right enough. I love to see yellow bellied trout like the one in the middle pic. I bet you really enjoyed catching these. Half a dozen brown trout in very good fettle, you have had a little piece of heaven today, Clydebuilt.

The middle fish was my favourite too!!
Been lucky (......should read very skillfull with fantastic watercraft...aye right.. ) on the last few trips on various Lochs and wee burns.
I seem to have found my love again for wild fish.
This seems to happen in cycles with me, I had (probably still got !) the Salmon bug really bad for a number of years but days like this are what its all about and to be honest in my 24 years fishing, its always the same whenever a fish takes, be it a 8oz'er or a 20lb springer, heart still goes boof.
Even better when your tying up the flies the night before, sets the anticipation level a wee notch higher.
Certainly beats rainbows anyday but i guess I'm luvky to be surrounded by wild fish waters.
