Default O.K, it's not a trout.....
.....But a 4.25lb chub is a nice fish all the same. I caught it yesterday afternoon in the tail of some rapids. On my 3wt it was a hard fight and the fish used the flow and weed beds to full advantage. The successful fly is also pictured.

More pertinently, is it a Baetis rhodani emerger or dry fly.

The rod is an Abel FF803-4, 8' 3wt, the reel is a custom anodised Abel Super 4. The rod is one of my favourites and the reel can't be bettered.
