You know Matt, the one thing I'm learning from experienced photographers is that there is nothing that will help you as much as getting a camera and just taking photo's. For instance I'd heard from people that dawn was the time of day to take photo's, I went out when it was so dark I needed a torch to see the ground, took some photos and looking back at them they look just like they were taken at midday. Soooooo much to learn, so little time.

As usual, results at nadder-diary.net

In an optimistic upturn I've sold 10 prints in last couple of months up to A2 size through photobox, search for nadder pro gallery...

Malcom as long as you know the four main factors of taking pictures

1. How large the hole is ( the aperture)
2. How long it stays open for ( the shutter speed)
3. How quickly the camera reacts ( the ISO)
4. How much light is reflected of the subject ( the light level)

Once you know how to combine the four facters you are able to take amazing pictures.
