Default Loch Lyoch Brown Trout

Caught this 5lb brown Trout on a Quill Buzzer tonight at Loch Lyoch by Lanark.

It is a wild fish and faught like a tiger

The fish was safely returned to the water

An Hour later my fishing mate John Caught this ( Estimated 8-9 lbs) fish.

John is 70 and it nearly ended his time on this earth as you can see.


The fish was returned safely to the water.

The last time lyoch was stocked with brown trout was 1898 so these are truly wild trout.

Lovely fish well done, but er why does your mate look like he is falling back into the lake in the second pic ?
