Default Garden Centre Fish

As a part of the weekends obligatory fishing negotiation with WHMBO i managed an hour on the Clyde river today while the dear wife and the wee man bought the essential herbaceous border opposite at a Garden Center in the Clyde Valley?
I dont fish this stretch much as its too busy with day trippers and dog walkers, i believe it is also stocked.
Can anyone tell me if this 11" fish is wild or stocked ? I have no idea, my suspicion is its stocked.

Yea looks wild. long and slender. Stocked ones of the same weight are usually shorter, due to them being younger and full of steroids( or what ever it is they use)

Fish from the Upper Clyde tend to be 'freckled' as opposed to spotted. But maybe the wildies further down are a bit different? Nice fish either way.

Bonnie wee fish Buzz. You've got to be happy with that, wild or not.

It turns out my suspicions were wrong.
Apparently the PH of the water changes as you go down river as does the character of the river bed and adjoining banks thus the difference in shape and colour. The fish i catch up river are alot leaner and as Dunbar says freckled so thats why i thought it was stocked .
Thanks for the input.
