So that's how they do it 'down under'

As they say, "it's not how big it is, but what you do with it that counts"

Well that's my story and I'm sticking to it........

Now thats the type a trout shop id like to visit and pick up some flies, a real fly shop if ever I saw one...

From the pictures ive seen, Glasgow angling centre looks more like a supermarket or something along those lines, as do most of these mail order centres..
bloody awfull..

Thanks for posting the pic...

Yeh GAC is more like a gigantic cash and carry warehouse ! BUT in its defence they have a LOT of stuff out on display so you can get a right good look at stuff without having to annoy somebody to go get you something from a box way out back....

Actually you can easily kill a whole afternoon wandering about the GAC...its amazingly huge.

And they dont have salesguys pouncing on you the second you walk in the door..paying it a visit is actually enjoyable.

The shop shown has changed hands. It's now owned and operated by Stu Tripney, a ex-pat Scot and his wife Mel. Stu's well known down here for his bionic flies - mostly made from foam. He's still got lots of tackle and is a Sage Dealer too. His details are:
