Default Best of the season so far...

48cm, unweighed, but over 2 1/2lbs I'd say. And a cracking fight in some pretty rough water!

Default Floods

I know what you mean guys. The Derbyshire Wye was perhaps the only fishable river in the country at the weekend (but even this is now ******). Even heard some of the southern chalkstreams have been in flood! Just how bad those big spate rivers must be up there (and across there Tango) doesn't bear thinking about. Spy1's pics show where the Dee used to be but the whole valley's more like a lake than a river. The rain is torrential as I write this and shows little sign of stopping. Hope you all have some memories or fish like this one to sustain you through these barren times!
Cheers,
JT
p.s. I lost a bigger one same day, but I know where he lives...

The Wylye was ok. fished on the Wilton water on Sat. Ended up long trotting but the water was clear enough for a fly.

There was 4.2" of rain in Capel Curig yesterday alone and more to come.
