as i'm feeling a bit **** just now (sciatica) i thought i might show you a photo that made me feel so happy this year.

this was a great fish,9lb11oz.fresh in from the sea. in fact still in the sea bar one pool.took a skated collie dog 2nd time round. absolutely magic.

Thats a braw fish by any standards Jim bet it put up a good account of itself.

If you dont mind me asking where were you when you caught it as it looks like Scotland but i think i might be msitaken.

Seriously though, was that out west somewhere. Did you ever find out where it came from. I heard that there were some taken from Skye and others right up around Ullapool. Was it a triploid or might there be others up there spawning now
