Default New Lake of Mentieth Record

Just a picture of the wee one I caught today.

Full story Charity day for the local School, only fishing for 4 hrs. Fished really hard for 2 hrs without a touch and began talking to Peter and Donald in the boat behind me While talking to them in Cages bay I was roll casting my 2 bobies and silver invicta forward into open water about 10 yds.
David Patterson who I was sahring the boat with muttered something to me and I turned and looked at where my booby had been on the surface, a huge swirl was there and I said ba@@:Rd I missed that one, but I had not and off it shot like a bat out of hell. Pike I said and David P was of the same opinion until it cleard the water, Rainbow it was and a stunner to look at, 10-15mins later we managed to squeeze it in the net all 17lbs 13ozs of it

A good day for the local school with all boat taking given to them, well done to Quintt and Douglas for a fantastic year on the Lake, top blokes

Cheers

Dave
