What fish is in the river? Salmon is my guess and obviously brownies.

That's a superb photo, Jim. I've had a love affair with wild Scotland ever since I can remember and that epitomizes what it's all about.

This is one of my favourite spots...a beat on the Thurso.

cracking river,the thurso.and a spate like that would bring the fish in.strangely the river in my photo is very poor for brown trout,and there are no sea-trout ?

Absolutely cracking pics guys , makes you want to run out the door now and start casting. I love those pics of wild places they really convey a sense of stark majesty, Stirs the blood and all that.

Really nice pictures. Here are a couple of mine.

Both from Attadale, probably the remotest part of Scotland, 15 Miles from the nearest tarmac road in any direction.
