A beautiful picture, some sit for hours waiting for an opportunity like that, a David Bailey in the making

Looks like buchanty spout to me too - much moving through there? My neighbours are keen to get a look at the fish jumping.

Default Buchanty

Aye, Buchanty Spout. A mesmorising spot. I spend many hours there.

Unfortunately it takes a good sunny day to allow you to get a good, sharp shot and they are a bit rare when the water is high enough for the fish to be running.

Thanks for your comments.

Not too much on the move just now. There were loads a couple of weeks back, some meaty specimens among them. All the fish the other day were nice fresh ones though.

Excellent pic. You must have a fast lense to allow that much light in whilst using fast shutter speed. What settings did you select to get the shot?
