Caught this one on a Hare's Ear at Willington(Derby), missed him taking it about 2 or 3 times before I got him. No one else caught a single fish that day, including two mates I had taken along, so that just added to the pleasure! Added to that was that some chap had just moved from the spot not 15 minutes prior, I know I shouldn't gloat but for a change it was me catching not someone else!

Sadly not a wild fish, but had a beautiful wild fish on the River Irfon of just a few ounces, but absolutely perfect. Unfortunately after falling in the day prior I decided not to take the digital camera just in case.

I fished at Willington whilst down South visiting family in the Summer. Their brownies are real crackers - and willing to snaffle dries quite readily!!

He's a beautiful fish and probably about as wild as you can get. Just look as the fins. Cue flak from the purists The browns went in just over two years ago and have provided excellent sport.

nice fish. stuff the "wild bunch" - ****** all fish are fully wild now. They've all be stocked at some point. Even my big brownie last week from NZ was wild but from stocked blood 150 yrs ago.

As long as you're happy.
