Default Loch Ba

Just a wee picture of Loch Ba, the image is 640K in size but panoramic so pretty long

Taken the other day while fishing with 2 of the Australian Commonwealth team, loads of fish and as the Aussie guys said stunning scenery and every fish was different.

We had browns that were silver with big black spots, then fish which were and olive green coloured with very little spots maybe 2 or 3 each side then you had the full coloured yellow belly's, stunning.

I will be running a guided trips up there, if anyone fancys a taste of the wild next year and airport collection is availble from Glasgow International. Fly in go fish and fly home all on the same day

That looks a really interesting place Dave, is that a river running into, or out of the lough?

Any migratory fish in it?

Lo M8,

it actually runs between two Lochs, the wee Ba as we call it and the Big Ba as you see here

It is great a fish behing every rock, well almost and more than one. It joins Loch Rannoch at the other end, one day I intend to walk and fish the complete Loch in a single Day, heavy going though over all the moors and if the midges are out well its a nightmare

Looks beautiful, one day you'll be hopefully getting a visit from me!

I too have experience in some of the lakes here in Norway that you catch three or four different coloured or marked fish. I thought it was different strains of brownies due to restocking after acid rain wiped out all the fish over here, but maybe it's just adaptation to enviroment.
