Default Fruid Burn

Had a cast on Fruid burn last week and was surprised as I caught several of these 1/2 pounders.

Good fun on the TCR #4

All came to a Size 18 Olive Paradun

The fruid burn is in Tweedsmuir in the borders,Its the outflow from Fruid reservoir that runs into the Tweed.

I saw a few larger trout but could not tempt them , I will fish the water again with a smaller rod 7ft #4 next time I visit my mate in Tweedsmuir.
