Here's a few pics from Canada from 2011.

We had a heck of a late spring which delayed our open water season til the first week of May.

Here's a few ice-out rainbows. Did well that day, landing 25, with the largest at 27-inches and about 7 pounds.




Went to a lake with our local club and did some ice breaking in our float tubes. Got into some hungry browns and smallmouth bass!



Took a first time fly fisher out to a lake stocked with Tiger Trout. (brown trout x brook trout) These are another kind of animal and have the willingness to bite of a brookie but the tenacity of a brown!

Really enjoyed those pictures! Can't believe how much I miss Smallmouths! In my opinion the hardest fighting fish pound for pound in fresh water.

Thanks guys! Thought I'd share something a little different. You guys have lots of fish that I wish I could catch!

Smallies are definitely a fun fish! They are a blast when using topwater poppers! Just demolish them!
