So as not to disappoint...

Award-winning wildlife photographer Mark Hancox captured the amazing image on the coldest day of the winter so far as temperatures plunged to -5C. His photo shows the bird diving into the water through a 15cm-wide gap in the frozen lake and emerging with a minnow in his beak. Mark captured the shot at a private pool near his home in Droitwich, Worcestershire, last Monday morning.

Thank you for posting those,the one i tried to post showed the Kingfisher in the ice hole with three fish in its beak.I think they are wonderful little birds.

I totally agree and I must say that this wildlife photographer Mark Hancox captured the amazing image and is deserved as Award-winning photographer....The timing was so perfect and so the images..
