Created an album, clicked on upload photos, browse, selected photos, clicked upload now and got "upload of file failed"???
-I've uploaded my avatar OK months ago using the upload, browse, upload method,
-have looked for tips etc to no avail,
-Photobucket very annoying (cancelled account ten minutes after starting),
-What's the bleeding problem, eh?

File size too large. Need to re-size to under 200kb (I think) per image.

*edit* Max file size 97.7kb per image.

could also be pixel size.
think its 880 x 880, but not sure.
on upload screen to album it will tell you max size though.

Think that's for avatars,It's 640x 480 max size for photos.

No, max size for avatars is 80x80 pixels or 19.5 KB. As said, the image file must not be larger than than 97.7KB according to the uploader. Try and upload to your album and it will tell you.

Use imgur.com for photo uploading, you just drag and drop the files onto the webpage and it uploads them.

Or if you want to try photobucket again I made a step by step for it.
