Default Autumn piking in Argyll...

... last weekend with Mr Fliesonline. We were mostly deadbaiting, which allowed us to lie back and soak up some rays... the weather was about the nicest we have had in 2011!

All taken with the Tamron 18-270 mm 'superzoom', which has been in and out of favour with me this year. I think the best way to use it is to leave all the other lenses at home (which you are kind of forced into with this sort of trip anyway) and just take the one that will do for every shot. Then you don't get the chance to compare its results with the fancier glass, and you just accept them for what they are.

Sorry Col, meant to return your message last night. I like the split toning on the mist one and that flared gill shot (which was the one I was going to email you about), is stunning! Inspirational, well done!
