Default Tarpon

A few pictures of a fish I landed this morning. Jumped 4 but only landed one.

Pictures weren't showing so hope you don't mind me adding them to my post.

Well done, cracking fish. Wish the weather was like that here though

Smashing!

May I please ask whether you are a guide or pleasure angler?

Great action shots and loved the final one of the head shot.

Well done

I just fish on my own, but if anyone wants to come along or give it a shot, I've got more than enough gear and I enjoy the company.
This past year, I think I've 'guided' six or seven fly fishing virgins to landed bonefish, and two or three to hookups with tarpon. No newbies have landed a tarpon yet!
On the island I live, there are maybe half a dozen people that fly fish on their own and we all know each other. There is one supremely overpriced guide service that preys on tourists and honeymooners.

Nice fish well done. In the past I've only dreamed of catching a tarpon, off to Cuba later in year so hoping to realise that dream
