This was the best of a dozen from the clyde last night,all on a sixteen dry,dont know the weight as he is swimming about this morning in his same place probably

That's a pretty fish Stew, glad to see the Clyde is performing better than the Eden for you, it's been dire this year, with the exception of a few big fish.

Cracking trout.

I lifted a 10 inch sea trout straight out the Clyde with my bare hands this morning. I was in wading with the dug and noticed the fish splashing on the surface not far from me in a foot of water. Went over and casually lifted it out the water. Put it back in and it made off quick style when the dug lunged at it.
