Default Leaping Salmon shot

Just thought i'd share this picture with you guys. Took it a couple of years ago at Falls of Shin in Sutherland. Used to fish the Shin back in the day, lovely river and challenging style of fishing.

Not the most amazing photo out there, but i'm quite proud of it as it took a lot of waiting around, and i like the composition.

Any shot of a leaping salmon is a good shot in my opinion. Been trying for years to get one

Well done, very nice pic

I've sat a few times watching the salmon leap up the falls of Shin and falling back and leaping again. It's truly a magnificent sight showing how powerful salmon are and how high they can jump. Wonderful shot.
