Unfortunately not caught on the fly rod,while trolling for pike at 30ft with a roach ,hooked up with this big brown 12.12oz

Yeah Andy showed me this picture the other day , it is a clonker you do seem to get more than you fair share of these lumps !!!

Yes it's the first year i've gone after them had 3 so far ,but it's a long day trolling for miles ,and you could fish for 5 or 6 days without a bite,i think its time for the Salmon.

Are there any fish being caught on the East Mayo waters of the moy there is a drop of rain forcast over the next two days Sunday should see it fineing down. I am heading to KILLTIMAGH for the weekend was thinking of trying the Gub sunday afternoon.

No better place for a Salmon ,although not many caught yet.
