Abel Super 4 Copper John Ltd edition. Far too nice to fish with though

Sublime. But as you say, far to nice to use - Is it sitting under a Sage ?

Yes it's sitting under a Z axis 9' 6" 4 weight.

I'm sure it's a very well made piece of kit, but they say beauty is in the eye of the beholder, not for all the tea in China would I have that reel, sorry.

Lined and fitted on a rod, now used, second hand.
Nice reel, I have the same in Brown trout, never use it though.

Stunning reel, great picture; But why spend in excess of £750 for a reel that does the same job as a £30 one?
