Default frozen river Ouse in york centre

usually water temps are warmer running though city's ??

strange path from one side to the other as in bottom pic

this one had me baffled as there is some form of "path" all the way across the river but no footprints near by anywhere ??

You will probably find that there is a sewerage pipe runs under the river there.

Aye or a HV cable ....

Tis very cold around here,,,,,

I have never seen rivers so frozen up....

I see there are Swans on the river. They probably swam across that bit when the ice was thinner and it has frozen back over again making it look different from the old ice on either side.
