Default Fuzzy Photobucket?

When I take a photograph it's (usually, depending on the DT's!) in focus, after I work on it in Corel Photopaint it's in focus and when I load it up to photobucket it's still in focus, so why when I copy and paste the image tag into this site it appears very slightly fuzzy, am I missing some subtle trick or am I doing something wrong? The Corel steps I normally take are to slightly change the brightness, contrast and saturation, alter the colour hue if it needs it, add an unsharp mask and finally put a thin black frame on the pic. I havn't noticed this effect on any of the other fishing sites I contribute to but then I'm not putting close ups on those sites.

Give an example of the fuzzy photo that you are referring to?

The Damsel Nymph pic I've just posted in the tying forum and the saltwater flies I posted in the same forum a few days ago. They just aren't as sharp as my originals.

The picture looks great. It could be your monitor or your eyes?

Trust me it's out of focus compared to my original.

How big (pixels) is the image your having the issue with?

I think anything over a certain size gets resized on here, this usually leads to a loss in quality.

The picture spec is 1,375 x 726 pixels at 72dpi with a memory size of 275kb so I can't see that it's too big.

According to the Image Properties for the Damsel picture it is showing.

Dimensions 1,023 x 540 pixels

File Size 128 kB (130,720 bytes)

So it looks as if it is being resized somewhere.
