hi guys

i was look at buying a new camera and seen this one , GE X5 Bridge Style Camera , what you views on it

Yes But your not giving us much info to work on.I would suggest that if the GE at the start stands for General Electric.I would avoid.

Is this a Camcorder.The 15x optical zoom would suggest so. do you still not have a manufacturers name ? or is GE.

In my opinion, unless it for buttons,forget it.Go for some of the better known names,which are not neccesarilly any more expensive.

It is General Electric, Jim.

I would have a look at the Fuji bridge cameras.

Digital SLR / Bridge Cameras / Long Zoom Digital Cameras from Fujifilm UK

I have had two. The S7000 and the S9600, both took good pictures and were easy to use. My wife has a Fuji FinePix F50fd compact which also takes great pictures and is easier to carry in pockets or bags

So it is GE.what camera have they re-badged/branded as their own,as they don't make cameras.
But are probably one of the biggest companies in the world.
