The Burton Game Fishing and Fly Tying Festival

If you are up near Burton on Sunday 9th October then stop by the Festival and take a look and help benefit Casting for Reccovery and Fishing for Heroes.

the show was a fantastic day all round the traders did well, the fly tying was
good .,the tyers all where full of praise for the organisation of the event
and want to do the event next year.the traders also want an event in2012.
we had nothing but good comments from the public ,saying it was one of the best shows of the year.£1400 was made for the selected charities, the show
will run next year on the 7th of October at the same venue .The Burton on Trent
Town hall it js almost full for trade stands and we will have at least 30 plus fly
tyers who want to return for 2012 thanks again to all from

£2.50 entry fee plus plenty of free parking was a refreshing change,and the real ale in the bar was very good too

Well Wendy, looks like you could be in danger of having a real success on your hands. Good beer, free parking, a few bargains, some of the top fly tyers on show, all for £2.50 as well as money going to charity. You can have my services free next year if the format is as above. Picked up some quality materials and met some great people.
It must be the best value day ticket available.
I thought it was a stroke of genius sitting Steve Parton next to Charles Jardine, what a double act.
