Second meeting of the Angling Trust's - North East Freshwater Forum

The second meeting of the North East Freshwater Forum will be held from 7.00 pm - 9.30pm on Monday 12 September at the Environment Agency's offices at Tyneside House, Skinnerburn Road, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE4 7AR. All members and non-members are welcome to attend, but are kindly requested to inform us if they plan to do so as soon as possible by e-mail to admin@anglingtrust.net

AGENDA

1. Welcome & Introductions
   
2. Vote on the appointment of the nominated Chair Ann Adlington, the nominated Secretary John Hepworth and the nominated Treasurer Brendan Heslop and the nominated officer for Anglers with Disabilities Peter Mantle.
   
3. Damage to livestock by herons
   
4. Damage to livestock by Cormorants and reports of major inland roosts by Tyne and the Wear
   
5. Poaching and even use of nets in thefts of fish
   
6. River matches: length of walk to pegs, safety of pegs, and number of pegs
   
7. Tyne Hydropower scheme
   
8. Consultation to regulate net and trap fishing for elver and adult eel, smelt, lamprey, crayfish and Chinese mitten crab
