On Sunday 15th May the Fishing For Everyone Ladies Fishing Club held a fly fishing event at Caistron Trout Fishery.

Ten ladies attended the event, including two ladies who had never been fishing before. Coaching was delivered by level 2 coach, Lucy Bowden and level 1 assistant coach, Jenny Lindley.

Caistron fished well, albeit for the strong winds and the best catch of the day went to Cat McGinty who landed a lovely 4lb Rainbow Trout.

At lunchtime a delicious BBQ was provided by Caistron and the Club would like to thank both Cliff and Ricky at the fishery for all of their help on the day.

The Fishing For Everyone Ladies Fishing Club will be joining the Hirst Park Trout Ticklers next month at Fontburn Reservoir for a combined discipline bait and fly fishing competition.
