BobP is on a distinguished road
Default River Lech, Tirol, Austria

I'm looking at visiting the part of Tirol in Austria to the west of Innsbruck sometime next summer. I have found that there is fishing available on the River Lech which actually flows into Germany north of Reutte. It occurred to me that some of our continental friends might have some information on that river. I'm particularly interested in whether it gets a lot of glacier melt water during the main summer period. This is a real problem in many parts of Austria and can kill the fly fishing. Any information will be helpful.
