Default L.Carra

Hi Folks
Caught a fine 3.75 lb trout on Carra yesterday,it was very windy and the lake was murky due to the marl being churned up, which does not auger well for fly fishing.I believe the lake is fishing well, does anybody else have any reports on this

That is a truly beautiful trout, I've fished most of the Irish loughs but never Carra, I must put that right before too long!

I love that lake. It has brilliant fishing, is normally very clear and lovely to swim in. It's hard to believe that that gentle loch is right next door the beast of Loch Mask.

I loved fishing with sedges on it at night time. I might take myself off camping near there next June or July..
