General answer:
Yes it will be hot. August is a hot month.
But:
It can also be colder if you hit cloudy weather, rain or something like that.
Fishing in the morning (if you are prepeared to get up early), fishing in the evening is a very pleasent expirience. Fishing through the day, it can be productive, but it shall be hot. Sun is strong so have sun protection and enough to drink. Remember you get a double dose, from the sun and from the glare of the surface. In any case, you shall most probably make a few hour stop between morning and evening session, to get something to eat and to relax a bit.
Me and one other guy were fishing yesterday through the day and had a nice fishing. But it sure was hot.
August is considered as the hardest month for flyfishing. Personally i don`t care about that and have a lot of fun during August. Fish do feed during an August too, it is just up to an angler to fool them. Unless you go to some of those "wild" sections, which many of the famous locations are.
All interesting fish species shall be in open season, all trouts, grayling, chub, nose carps etc. etc., exept hucho.
