Fished L Mask on thur +fri last.Thur flat calm,huge hatch of caenis,few olives, no fish.Yesterday perfect fishing day mild steady breeze from south,fish coming "short" to the fly, hooked 7 fish(some beauties among
them),got 2, 2lb and13/4lb. in the Shintillas.Sedges hatching and a few olives

Hi JJ

Tried wets nymphs and drys on Thursday to no avail. Yesterday (Friday) perfect fishing day. Fish reluctant to feed early but things improved in the afternoon. The fish were coming short to the flies and we got everything on wet flies, particularly dabblers and cock robins. Hope this is helpful,
