Not much happening on Mask at the moment, Some friends of mine went up for the weekend but pulled out on Sunday morning. They went down to Corrib which was just as bad. I spoke to several anglers that were on both over the weekend and all had the same to say............. Stay At Home !!

Default Mask

Folks any word on the fishing on Mask and if it has picked up any. It might be like a few other places with the cold spell not helping. Any sign of a decent olive hatch ?

Default fishing around westport

hi there,we are over in westport on the first week in june for our annual fishing trip,we will be fishing the carra for sure,in the past few years we have fished the mask and also a couple of local smaller loughs near westport, thinking of trying the corrib this time, does anyone know of any other good trout loughs reasonably close to westport that has good brown trout.we all have a catch and release policy so your trout stocks will remain the same when we leave.cheers for any info or phone numbers regarding boats or permits......
