Default THE SUNSHINE COAST B.C. CANADA

The trout fishery is hot with the big cutthroats in full swing and rainbows starting ,the next few months should be good . soon the larger cutthroats will return to the depths and smaller 10-20 inch fish will dominate the fishery. the black ant hatch is something not to be missed .should start the first few hot days of june /july . the rainbows are gathering and feeding along the shores . leaches and stickelbacks are the hot flys to be working.
Sea run cutthroats are heading back to sea , and the beach fishing is heating up. small chum fry are already being pushed out to the beach in this high water.Green opoxy minnows and alvin patterns.in stream small alvins are picking up larger fish , the 20+ inch fish are holding in the last 5 pools of the creeks so when the water drops they drop out to sea in the case of a otter.
All small streams are fishing well this week.
In the inlet river , the bull trout fishing is hot bulls and dollies are in full swing. the cutts are big and the rainbows numerous. 30 fish days on the bulls are almost every trip.
