The big chill has left but many of the canals are still cold, but slowly rebounding. Unfortunately the peacock bass have really been hurt especially in the north and western areas. I have found some dead peacocks even in the southern canals in and around the city. The good news is they are still there and should start to bite better over the next week or so as long as we don't cool too much again. More good news is that the largemouth in the Everglades continue to produce big numbers and we have started to catch some bigger fish up to 7 pounds. It's a great time to get the kids and enjoy the Everglades (lots of birds and lot's of Alligator's). I have scattered openings over the next few weeks!

the weather should start warming up there really soon,!!!!!!!!!!!

I has warmed up here in Orlando, but we have just had a tremendous Thunder Storm and localised Tornado. 23 Deg at the moment but fishing is still tough. Maybe next week will bring a change.
