Fly Fish Florida is on a distinguished road
Default Miami (Florida) Peacock Bass Fishing

Another cold week has put a hurt on South Florida's peacock bass. I am still catching them but am finding some in the urban canals that couldn't make it through all the cold. It's starting to warm up but it wasn't in time for some especially in the Everglades. I found water temperature's in the low 60's in the city canals and in the 50's throughout the Everglades. What happened to that Global Warming? The largemouth bass bite continues to be good in the Everglades even through the cold weather.

Just a footnote to those of you looking to come down over the next few month's that my days are filling up so please take a look at your calendar soon! It will warm up and the good times are ahead.

Well we did sneak in one mild day last week and it was great! There was three other days I didn't go out as it was way too cold. We are to hit 70 degree's tomorrow so come on down!

Stay warm everybody!
Tight lines,
Alan Zaremba
