Fly Fish Florida is on a distinguished road
Default Florida (Miami) Peacock and Largemouth Bass Report

It's cold!!!!!! Even here in South Florida we are feeling it. Unfortunately yesterday I started to see many cichlids in the Everglades canals either struggling or dead on the bottom of the canals. This will push me back to the city canals and has me a bit saddened. It was great while it lasted as we were catching great numbers of peacock bass, largemouth bass, Oscars and Mayan cichlids out in areas they are not known for.

As you can see we still had some great days with some great kid shots. The Everglades is still good for largemouth bass especially for numbers and the city canals will do fine for peacock bass.

Stay warm everybody!

Tight lines,
Alan Zaremba
