Hi everyone,

I thought you may like an update on the opening weekend at the Atlantic Salmon Reserve.

We fished for a couple of hours on Saturday evening and all day Sunday and caught 20 fish between 16lbs and 26lbs broken down as follows.

Lower Kharlovka

14 fish best 26lbs

12 sealiced

Eastern Litza

4 Osenka best 16lbs

Rynda

1 Osenka
1 sealiced best 18lbs

Zolotya

Not fished


This is one of the best starts we have ever had and reflects open rivers with very decent air and water temperatures. The Eastern Litza will begin to pick up momentum as it typically runs a little colder than the other rivers but expect to see plenty of action from Snowbank and Military as the week progresses. Lower Kharlovka up to Home Pool will only get better and better and the Rynda likewise. Little Zolotya will kick in next week.
