Default Every two years there's a run of Pink and Chum Salmon into Puget Sound.

This is 'the year,' appears the run into Puget Sound (Seattle area in Washington State) is estimated at 6 MILLION fish. The Pinks are a hoot on a 6wt rod .... with Chum's you'd better have at least an 8wt or its a no contest. For shear fight there is nothing like a angry Chum Salmon on the end of your fly line.
