Default Lough Mask Early March Best Flies

Any ideas for best flies for an early march trip out on lough mask ?

I have fished mask quite often in the month of march and it can be tough going at times.1 fly that done extremely well was a very dark claret dabbler.It was so dark that it looked almost black until held against the light.It was fished on a intermediate line on the top,It was 1 of rod tyes tyings.I also found dark olive hoppers to do well.ALOT of the fish i cought in march when spooned had snails in them,Dont know if that is any help.Best of luck

dark sooty olive a good early season fly on a lot of the loughs.
