Default Montana Fly Fishing in the fall

Montana fly fishing is really picking up. Large browns are preparing to spawn and are becoming more aggressive. Baetis are hatching daily and are incredibly thick on overcast days bring a lot of fish to the surface. Several very large browns have been caught by our guides fishing streamers either stripped or dead drifted including a 27" brown and 25" brown. Fishing should remain very good threw October.
