Default Sorry to sound thick

Does anyone have a chart or is there a section on the forum that charts the entomology of the types of fly hatching throughout the year in the UK. I can't seem to find one

If all you are after is a basic guide to what is hatching when, then the Pocket Guide to Matching the Hatch by Peter Lapsley is a pretty good starting point.

I agree with the above. I have the full size version and it's really useful. You can have a look at it on amazon books. Hey you don't sound thick mate, only way to learn is ask. I'm still asking after 30 yrs!

Boyd

Here in darkest Yorkshire we have a quaint expression - "the only stupid question is the one you didn't ask!"

Hi Boyd, they say you can tell a clever man by the answers he gives,
and you can tell a wise man by the questions he asks.
My advice is John Goddards Waterside Guide. Good luck, RB.
