Default Grey Dagger (Acronicta psi)

Perhaps this is not the sort of entomology that interests the average fly fisherman, but there are some truly beautiful insects. The caterpillar of the Grey Dagger moth (Acronicta psi)

SPOOKY DAVE.. that you should put a caterpillar up here's one and the only one that eats and lives on Ragwort the poisonous plant , the cinnabar moth caterpillar

Many caterpillars are really quite beautiful creatures (and then turn into adults that are quite drab by comparison).
