Default Anyone know their moths? ID Required please.

This came to visit me at work this morning, pinned to the front door of the factory.

It was on the ground this evening and allowed itself to be placed onto a bit of paper and be photographed, it didn't flinch at all!

Not great images, I only had my 24-70/2.8 on me at the time (no macro lens )but enough detail for a good ID I hope.

TIA, Gary

Stuart I was just about to ID this one (I got the answer form a photgraphy forum I frequent). You're quick with your ID's mate

I thought it was a non-UK moth too, never mind!

Thanks for the comments, I do like my piccies

That's a cracker. Something about big moths which I find fascinating.
