Not an easy subject for photography eh SS. Coincidentally I saw my first mega hatch of caenis yesterday evening on theTaff. It was pretty amazing, the swarms which easily held hundreds of thousands of the insects looked like billows of smoke, rising and falling, moving along the river.

They're weak fliers and any strong gust of wind carpeted the river in them.

I'm pleased to say the trout were totally ignoring the feast and were switched on to sedges, no prob there.
