Wiki - The bloody-nosed beetle (Timarcha tenebricosa) is a large flightless leaf beetle. It gets its common name from a defensive behaviour of exuding a foul-tasting bright red fluid from its mouth, and is also called blood spewer or blood spewing beetle.
