Bruce

Stonefly looks like a female Large Stonefly - Dinocras cephalotes

The dun on the stone could be the Dusky Yellow Streak (or Dark Dun) - Heptagenia lateralis (pick one up myself last week)

OB , what of the "reddish" fly on the stone and the one on the rod ??????

Although there is not much of it to be seen, I think the fly on the rod is an Olive Upright Dun (Rhithrogena semicolorata) - it's just possible to make out the distinctive dark mark in the centre of the visible femurs.

I can't see enough detail of the red fly to suggest a 'make'.

Were they a bit leech like and attached to the stone at one end, they look very like blackfly (simuliidae) larvae.
