Default Egg laying on cars

Hi all,
I witnessed a good spinner fall on my car this evening. A few dozen of these nice upwings mated and layed their eggs on my car. Any idea what they are?

I live near a small spate stream.

I've also just noticed the two differing positions that the male takes. The second and third pictures are of different mating pairs.

Regards,
Brennan

The third photo clearly shows a dark streak in each femur; at this time of the year, that more or less confirms they are Olive Upright Spinners (Rhithrogena semicolorata).
