Default Mayfly on the Stour this weekend

Not started hatching on my local river yet but there were plenty of Mayfly on the lower Stour on Saturday.

I like that shot of mayflies against the clouds - a classic springtime view.

Thanks DB,

I was surprised anything came out as the pics was taken on a phone camera.

Sunday felt like spring had hit it's peak in Dorset.

BTW, I have monster stack of T&S if you fancy meeting up.

Best

Jon

They've been steadily coming off the Allen and the streamier stretches of the stour around eyemead for the last 4 or 5 days.
